Our colostrum is responsibly collected only after the first 12 hours of birth and within a 36-hour time frame, when the colostrum is at its peak. Calves alone receive it during the first 12 hours; after that, it is shared.
Directions for Use:
Scoop Included = 1/4 tsp (0.59 g)
• Dogs under 10 lbs: one pinch (1/16 tsp)
• Small Dogs (11-25 lbs): ⅛ tsp once daily
• Medium or Large Dogs (26-99 lbs): ¼ tsp once daily
• Extra Large Dogs (100 lbs or more): ½ tsp once daily.

use this to heal wound
My overall review from first hand experience: Colostrum-38 K9 is an excellent agent in healing hot spots. My first dog was very prone until I went raw feeding. I shaved the area to allow airflow, cleaned the wound and sprinkled Colostrum 38 on it. also used the cone of shame. I give it to my second dog as a sprinkled topper on food for an immune boost strengthener. I do love this product.

I have been purchasing this since the start of the year and have not seen any allergy symptoms typical for my senior boy during spring and summer. Last year during those seasons he experienced chin acne, eye discharge, and his typical hot spots that come and go. I have not seen a trace of the first two, and his hot spots have been much less frequent and severe (but I’m waiting for summer to finish up before I can say for certain there has been a change there). He doesn’t mind the addition of this in his food at all, and I like that you only have to use the tiniest bit and that the container is glass!
