Great product - but horses not crazy on taste

I am sure it is a superior product - horses look great. However, it has been a bear to get the 3 horses to eat it. Suggestion of unsweetened apple sauce did not work - at all. Tried other things short of sugar to improve taste. This is mixed with soaked alfalfa/timothy cubes. I finally did have some success by starting and proceeding very slowly. Then I increased the amount of soaked cubes to dilute taste and also added unsweetened beet pulp. This has had the most success but still not 100% of the time. And I would only say 1 of the 3 horses has a reputation as a somewhat fussy eater. I would give it 5 stars if they ate it consistently. However, they are eating the mix more consistently than just a few weeks ago so I am hopeful that the trend will only get better.

My horse loved the original version. Sadly won’t touch the new stuff.

Super product. Notice a big difference in vascularity, coat quality, and muscle quickness. He's a 9yo GP breeding stallion. So demand on energy and body is real. So pleased to have found a product to support his lifestyle. Plan to continue the product.

Hands down the best

I have tried so many wellness supplements over the years. All fall short. Since switching my entire barn to this, everyone is thriving! Another great whole food product from BioStar!

The ingredients reeled me in

The whole food ingredients is what reeled me in. Some of the horses have refused to eat it, so I am slowly building them up to the proper dosage by mixing it in with some chaffhaye. Other horses eat every bit. I can't say that I've noticed any big difference, but the horses that are currently eating the full amount look great and I am convinced that in the long run, the whole food ingredients will support their immune system better and provide better long term health.
