My Staffordshire Bull Terrier has mold/pollen allergies and this seems to help. I give him this and a TCM powder. He’s been on both for a few months. I stopped this for a week or so thinking maybe it wasn’t needed, but he started to get red under his arms again, so I put him back on it. No problem with him eating it- just sprinkle it on his raw food.
I found BioStar when I was looking for the next supplement to try to get to the root of my blue Weimaraner’s extreme allergic response to… I don’t know what. For 5 months, Rambo was scratching so much that his ears would bleed and hair was falling out all over his body. He was covered in hives and pustules constantly. I was interested in trying the bovine colostrum, but after exploring the website some, I found an option for a consultation. This FREE service was just what my dog and I needed. The wonderful representative who helped me listened for 30 minutes while I rattled off everything I had tried to help give my dog relief. There is probably too much to cover in a review, but I decided to start with the Integral Salmon based off her recommendation. Within a week I could see some improvement. The top of his back was shinier and his skin was less flaky. There was much less dander. After two weeks, he was still itchy, so I decided to give the Integral twice a day, and that’s when I really started to see a difference. After 4-5 weeks, almost 90% of the itching is gone! I think it’s important to mention, we also changed to a freeze dried food at the recommendation of the representative. But again, when I really started seeing a huge difference, was when I gave the Integral two times a day. I’m hoping I’ll be able to back that off to once a day eventually but this is what is needed right now. I’m grateful that I found this product (so is Rambo)!
It is keeping my Shepard that is down in the rear going and also helping my older guys.
I have tried a number supplements to ease my Cavalier’s acid reflux. It is particularly bad in the a.m. right after she eats. She takes a morning medication for an unrelated issue. A lot of gastric relief supplements contain slippery elm which I’ve read can interfere with medication absorption. In my research I found some publications indicated collagen might help with acid reflux so I purchased the Salmon formula of Integral K9. I’ve seen a very positive difference. She seems much more comfortable after eating and her regurgitation is minimal. I’m so happy I found this!
Excellent product. The dog likes the taste and I am sure it is helping the integrity of her GI.
