I tried ZenMax for the first time at a show. Sadly, it did not seem to cut my herd bound gelding's anxiety, who continued to call and pace with the ZenMax on board. I did give it when he was calm and stayed with him for a while to let it settle in, and I did see him resting briefly after he was left alone for about a half hour, but then he started back up with his behaviors.

ZenMax allowed Blue, our rescued Friesian/Paint cross to feel unthreatened by being ridden, to hear without bracing the (very diplomatic) asks or aids from my brilliant trainer. Blue came from a very challenging situation, and we have slowly been putting the pieces of his physical and emotional well being together in a way that feels supportive to him. ZenMax was the last piece of the puzzle, and while he no longer needs it for every ride, it is always in my toolkit for days when he feels unsettled (today's big thunderstorms, for example) I LOVE this product!

We started to use this with our rescued Friesian Blue who has a lot of anxiety due to past trauma and abuse. We have been unraveling his medical and emotional issues for two years, and still there is this layer of anxiety that nothing seemed to help. IAnd then we tried Zen-Max. What a difference! He is so much more relaxed, curious and actually enjoying his work. We are still very careful to keep the work gentle and within his capacity, but the Zen-Max is softening his body and mind. Thank you!!!!!
