Saccharomyces cerevisiae - South Africa
Saccharomyces boulardii - Canada
Bio Yeast EQ™ is a warming probiotic for horses and is microencapsulated to ensure delivery to the hindgut.
We recently found a strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae that we believe to provide better results. Approved by the EU in 2009, trials of CNCM1-1077 showed that this strain stimulated the growth of cellulolytic bacteria populations in the hindgut, leading to better digestibility of hay and forage.
The Saccharomyces boulardii (CNCM1-1079) yeast supports the hindgut as well as production of short chain fatty acids.

Unfortunately, I was in a pretty bad car accident on December 7. Broke some vertebrae and am in a brace. My first neurology appointment is on January 25 with expectations of a brace no longer than 4 months. Hopefully, it will be a lot less time. Have not been to the barn since the accident. I will review when I am a regular at the barn again.
Love the product for my mustang mare who has sensitivity to C3 grasses and super sensitive to molds. However for it to work I have to use 3x recommended dosage. I mention this in case anyone finds it not helping. Crank the dosage.
I didn’t get this. I got trac Bios. Very please with it!
My horse was treated for ulcers but still had a tough time with Accupuncture points for the stomach. We tried several herbal treatments but this one made him happy. He no longer dances in the cross ties during sessions and is sweet!
It is hard to isolate exactly what is working currently since I changed several things. My horse was not building muscle and loosing weight. I did all the blood work suggested by my vet that came up negative. I contacted Tigger Montegue as suggested by a local holistic vet. Tigger made suggestions to change and augment my horse’s ration which I followed. She also suggested to add the Bio Yeast EQ. I do feel it was an important addition to my horse’s supplementation. I would definitely recommend the product.
